Monadic Wiki

Monadic Wiki is a wiki that can be packaged and viewed as a single html file (see monad) that can be: 1. Easily archived (saved to disk), 1. Emailed or messages around and 1. Viewed without a server (or any dependency).

It only needs a web browser to view and fully interact with - just drop the file onto any browser.

A monadic wiki has the advantage of being a solid and practical basis for:

- Low cost (free) static site hosting - Local-First development - Long term archiving - Legal archiving of agreements - Decentralised architectures - Version Control - Compatability with a huge range of existing tooling - Independance from frameworks

# Examples TiddlyWiki is an example - the main example - of a monadic wiki. It is robust, well engineered and tested, with a passionate community or writiers and developers.
